Lutheran Schools Week
03/02/10 - From March 7th - March 13th, BLS will be celebrating Lutheran Schools Week. The theme is “Securing Each Child’s Future for a Life of Service.” It is based on 1 Corinthians 12:5 – “There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.” Both the Upper School and the Middle School will be having special dress down days to celebrate being in a Lutheran school. The special dress days for the middle school are:
Monday - Dress Like A Teacher Day;
Tuesday – Pajama Day;
Wednesday – Clash/Crazy Hair;
Thursday – Crayon Day;
Friday – Twin/Triplet Day. The special dress down days for the upper school are: Monday- Pajama Day: no slippers or boxers; sweatpants are permitted for this day;
Tuesday-Hawaiian Day: No flip flops, coconut bras, or bikini tops; Grass skirts permitted with leggings or athletic shorts underneath;
Wednesday-Dress like a Teacher Day: No sweatpants;
Thursday- Dress like a Celebrity Day: No inappropriate Celebrities;
Friday-School Spirit/Class Color Day.
